Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Galveston, TX

In America's bible belt that comprises of the southern states including Texas whether there is a grocery store, hospital or a police station in a city doesn't matter so long as there is one or more churches in the community. This is the extent of faith in this part of the world. These churches are not some rundown buildings that also serve as a house of worship but fancy building, mostly better than the ones in the community.

Pictured below is the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, located across the street from the Bishop's Palace. This church seems to be the renovated version of an older house of worship. I guess in the olden days the Bishop would simply walk across the street to deliver sermons on Sundays. Now the palace is a museum and I wonder where the Bishop lives?
