Eat Chocolate and Help Haiti Earthquake Victims!

Recently a massive earthquake occured in the tiny island nation of Haiti. The quake that shook the impoverished nation occurred at 16:53 local time (21:53 UTC) on Tuesday, 12 January 2010. There have been numerous aftershocks since then. It is estimated that the quake has left over 200,000 killed and 300,000 injured. The entire nation of Haiti has virtually collapsed due to the quake. It would take a global effort to rebuild the nation and provide a sustainable life to its population.

The world has risen to the occasion and contributed billions of dollars to help in the reconstruction efforts. In the US one confectionary company has come up with a unique plan to help Haiti. With Valentines day round the corner the company has announced that they would donate 100% of the profits derived by sale of their products, particularly Dark Chocolate, one of their flagship offerings.

If you are celebrating Valentines day make sure you help Haiti in the process. It is simple, all you need to do is to buy a box of chocolates and you would have helped Haiti. Donating money was never so easy.
