Winter Views of Texas

It is not winter yet... it is still fall but to me it seems like winter. The sun sets around 5.30 pm leaving the cities dark with few sodium vapour lamps illuminating the night skies. Today is Black Friday... known in the US for its shopping and deals. Today was different from the previous years because nobody seemed to want to spend any money, the busiest part of the mall was the food court and the ice skating rink. That is what I would call a damp squib for retailers who were hoping to make big bucks on this day.
