Another year and another Republic Day and India has been a republic for 61 years. In my lifetime this is the third year that I am not spending this momentous occasion in India. I am glad that I remembered that and was glad that my parents back home in India made some village kids aware of this occasion by distributing sweets at the school flag hoisting ceremony.
Sitting here, in Dallas, Texas the most I can do is to remember!!!
