Technology is simply amazing the ways it can help us. Google maps was a boon for hundreds of thousands of Americans when it helped them get to places easier. Google maps introduced another feature "Street View" which enables users to look at the real picture of places by the road before they go there.
Google used this very feature to showcase the alpine slopes of Canada where the Winter Olympics are being held. The video embedded below showcases how this was done and gives everyone in the world with internet access an opportunity to get a close look at the slopes.
