Designing Graphics

My first job was that of a designer's and ever since there has been some aspect of creativity in my career. I was a graphic designer, a journalist and now involved in website design in a small way. I recently was trying to create a custom map of places I have visited with google maps. In order to make the map more interesting I tried to create some icons. Here they are for your viewing pleasure and critique.
