Thunder-Storm Evacuation

Yesterday evening a thunder storm stuck our area. I was in class, fighting sleep and trying to concentrate on the lecture. I was sleepy not because the subject is boring, but due to the extreme air conditioning. Anyway it was nearing the end of the class and one of my classmates says: "There is a tornado in the area,". And sure enough the siren goes off the next moment. The next few minutes were like a hollywood disaster movie. Classes got canceled prematurely and we were all herded like sheep into three "Severe Weather Areas" large classrooms which are built strong to weather the storm. I have to mention that the buildings here, though look majestic and strong, are built of wood and are quite flimsy.

For the next 45 minutes there was utter chaos in the "Severe Weather Areas", students talking, studying, some eating, and some even sleeping. When the all clear siren went off the staff member who had overseen our herding announced that we need to get back to our classes or check with our professors. Some humanities classes got canceled, but we proceeded to our class. We had a quiz and guess what... like usual I think I made a 100. Will know for sure today.
