Lake Texoma

After getting the Texas State Park Pass I have tried to make full use of it. We visited Lake Ray Roberts last week and this week went to Lake Texoma via the Eisenhower Memorial State Park in Denison, TX.

Lake Texoma is unique because its waters are divided between two states Texas and Oklahoma. It is a long water body that snakes along the TX-OK border. According to the TX state parks guide the lake spans across a water surface area of 89,000 acres. Fed by the Red River and the Washita Rivers, the Lake Texoma's catchment area spans across a mind blowing 39,719 sq. mi.
