Sunset at Sherman

Last week before all the mayhem of snow and ice we went to a small city known as Sherman about 35 miles from where I live. Sherman still has those vast open spaces and rolling countryside that Texas was famous for. I say Texas was known for open spaces because anyone who lives in large metro area in the state is getting used and even preferring smaller homes, no yards, much like India, homes almost sticking to each other. Unfortunately when we build homes like that we lose small pleasures such as watching the sun rise and set. The blazing orange sunrise is always a treat to not only the eye but the soul. I wonder if things in the future will be different....
